For the title of the best mentor of Russia contestants from the Orel region

Representatives of the sphere of education of the Orel region participate in the competition for the title of the best mentor of Russia. This is reported in the press service of the regional government.

The project “Knowledge.Mentors” is attended by 18 representatives of the Orel region. Residents of our region can support their countrymen by voting for them before September 30. The link is on the website of the government of the Orel region.

The best mentors will receive a monetary incentive – 50 thousand rubles. Also, 200 participants with the highest results will undergo a special training program to exchange best practices.

Among the mentors from the Orel region, who passed the selection, 13 represent general education organizations, another 5 - organizations of secondary vocational education. In total, about 3 thousand people who have passed the qualifying stages participate in the project. Initially, more than 15,000 applications were received.

The struggle is in the nominations “People’s recognition is the best teacher of general education” and “People’s recognition is the best mentor of SPO”.

Public voting will allow the opinion of the general public to be taken into account in determining the winners. It is also necessary to draw additional attention to the role of a mentor in the education system and emphasize the importance of the work of teachers who help to unlock the potential of their pupils.
