“Recording conversation” will be held in Brest on October 28: learned what experts will talk with students of colleges

October 28 at the Branch of Brest State Technical University The Polytechnic College will hold an information and educational meeting “Record Talk”, which will unite students of four institutions of secondary special education in Brest. It's reported by sb.by.

Participants of the meeting will be representatives of the branch of BRSTU Polytechnic College, Brest State Trade and Technology College, Business and Law College and Brest State Music College named after G. Shirma.

- The main goal of the event is to help young people understand topical issues of personal and public safety, form a responsible attitude to their own actions, learn how to resist negative phenomena in the youth environment and consciously approach the use of digital technologies, said Ksenia Khodor, Chief Specialist of the Information, Ideological, Organizational and Personnel Department of the Brest Regional Committee of the BRSM. – In the format of an open dialogue, participants will discuss topics that are of particular importance for a modern young person: prevention of bullying, countering extremism, the basics of cybersecurity, as well as the activities and tasks of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union. That is, “Talk-up” will give young people the opportunity not only to gain new knowledge, but to learn how to apply them in real life.

During the upcoming meeting, the invited experts will tell young people about modern threats in the digital space, measures to prevent extremist manifestations, legal aspects of online behavior and real responsibility for illegal actions. BRSM representatives will acquaint students with the main activities of the organization, its tasks and opportunities for self-realization of young people, participation in socially significant initiatives and the implementation of their own ideas.
