Zadonsky district court sentenced the driver for the death of workers on the M-4

To two and a half years of the colony-settlement sentenced 55-year-old Muscovite who shot down to death two road workers on the highway M-4 “Don”. The verdict was made by the Zadonsky district court, the press service of the judicial system of the Lipetsk region reported.

The accident occurred on the repaired section of the track. Driving a Dodge Ram pickup truck at a speed of 90 km / h, the motorist ignored warning shields and restrictions signs up to 50 km / h and demolished a team of workers. Two men died on the spot, the third suffered serious injuries.

The driver pleaded guilty and paid the families of the victims 9.95 million rubles. Taking into account the remorse and charitable assistance to the participants of the SVO, the court appointed the culprit a term in a colony-settlement and deprived him of his driving license for two years.
