The final stage of the contest “Teacher of the Year of the Republic of Belarus” is held in Minsk

The opening of the final stage of the republican competition of professional skills of pedagogical workers “Teacher of the Year of the Republic of Belarus” took place in the small hall of the Palace of the Republic on September 21, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti agency reports.

63 people participate in the final of the large-scale competition. Teachers will demonstrate their skills in 9 nominations, including two new ones – “Young Teacher” and “Young Director of an Educational Institution”.

The contestants have several difficult qualifying stages, which consisted of a series of tests: briefings, open lessons, performances on stage and professional testing. Each of the teachers thoroughly "pumped" his skills, ahead - the final step to the honorary title of the best teacher of the country.

On the stage of the small hall of the Palace of the Republic, teams of teachers from all regions made a self-presentation. It told about the features, sights of the places where they came from, about their principles in work, confessed their love for the profession and children.

- We open the final stage of the contest “Teacher of the Year of the Republic of Belarus”. And for each of you as a finalist, this is not just another test. This is a recognition of your talent, strength of spirit and loyalty to the profession, said Alexander Kadlubay, Deputy Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus. Behind the excitement of the qualifying stages, hours of preparation, creative search, support of colleagues and loved ones. And now you are in the final: it is a great honor and responsibility! You present here the best pedagogical experience of all regions of the country. And it is worthy of deep respect and sincere admiration.

Ah. Kadlubay said that the contest has been held in Belarus since 1991. For 35 years, it has remained one of the largest and most significant events in the pedagogical life of the country. During its existence, the competition brought together hundreds of thousands of teachers, participants, creative teachers and formed a representative expert community.

- For teachers, it is an effective school of professional personal growth, for society and the state - an opportunity to popularize the profession of a teacher, increase its status, spread innovative ideas and innovative experience. The competition demonstrates the achievements of the national education system throughout the country, the Deputy Minister of Education said.

Ahead of the finalists are waiting for competitive tests. They will hold master classes, open lessons, write a comprehensive written work. The name of the holder of the title of the best teacher of the country will be announced on October 2. According to tradition, the absolute winner of the competition will receive a valuable prize – a car.

The finalist is a young teacher of physical culture and health Artem Yadlovsky. The teacher represents the Gomel region, works in secondary school No. 13 of Zhlobin named after V. V. Guzov. Before being in the final and shining on the stage of the Palace of the Republic, he systematically participated and won in regional competitions of professional skills.

- Today we faced a team challenge – self-presentation. This is a competition in which we have to show our best, including artistic, qualities on stage. Therefore, first of all, it was necessary to sleep well and go out to the viewer with a great mood, Yadlovsky said.

By the way, the teachers prepared for self-presentation not at all a demonstration lesson ... but an incendiary song.

- I participate in the competition to share my experience and borrow it from my colleagues. I am also proud to continue the proud tradition of the institution where I work. In almost every competition, one of the representatives of my school reached the final, the young teacher shared.
