Training sessions to eliminate the conditional accident were held on the main oil pipeline Unecha — Mozyr. This was reported in the Department of interaction with the media of the Prosecutor General’s office, writes sb.by.

According to the scenario, the oil pipeline was depressurized, an oil spill was found on the water surface in the area of the underwater passage of the main oil pipeline. In the process of emergency exercises, mechanisms of interaction between employees of the enterprise to prevent the spread, collection and export of conditionally pumped oil from the water surface were worked out. Representatives of the Prosecutor General’s Office, Gospromnadzor, heads and specialists of Gomeltransneft Druzhba took part in the training sessions.

As noted in the Ministry, the safe functioning of the enterprises of the oil and gas transportation system is critical to ensure uninterrupted supply of energy resources. That is why compliance with industrial safety regulations is constantly in the field of view of prosecutors.

In order to avoid damage to the main oil product pipelines, oil pipelines and gas pipelines, which can lead to abnormal situations, the Prosecutor General’s Office calls for strict compliance with the provisions of the Regulations on the Procedure for the Establishment of Protected Zones of Main Pipelines, the size and mode of their use, approved by the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of November 21, 2022 No. 800.

In the protection zones of trunk pipelines it is forbidden to carry out unauthorized excavations and earthworks, to carry out actions that may disrupt the operation of trunk pipelines, means of technological communication and telemechanics or lead to their damage; to make fire, to place open and closed sources of fire; to store feed, fertilizers, materials, hay and straw, sawn and grooved wood.
