The meeting of the Council of Presidents of the CIS Supreme Courts will be held in Minsk on October 8
The second meeting of the Council of Chairmen of the Supreme (Supreme) Courts of the CIS Member States will be held in Minsk 8.

The second meeting of the Council of chairmen of the supreme (higher) courts of the CIS member states will be held in Minsk on October 8, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti news agency reports.
According to BelTA, the meeting is expected to be attended by heads of the highest judicial bodies of Belarus, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Armenia (remotely), Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Uzbekistan, as well as representatives of state bodies of Belarus and the CIS Executive Committee.
Participants will discuss priority areas of judicial cooperation in the CIS format, as well as the results of generalization of judicial practice on the recognition and enforcement of decisions of foreign courts of the CIS countries for 2022-2024.
The agreement on the formation of the Council was signed on October 15, 2021 and entered into force on November 26, 2022. The Council is an interstate body of the CIS established to develop agreed principles of cooperation between courts and expand mutual legal assistance mechanisms.
