Green oasis with fountain ensemble will appear in the center of Volgograd
In the CPKIO of Volgograd is preparing for the landscaping of the territory of the fountain ensemble under construction.

Specialists began to equip flower beds and prepare seats: drainage and soil are laid in the kashpo on small fountains. Only four fountains will make 16 kashpo – this will require about 50 cubic meters of soil. They will plant willow "Hakuro Nishiki" and miscanthus Chinese: the weeping form of willow will harmonize with the jets of water, and miscanthus will add a vertical accent to the composition.
According to the arboretum, the directorate of the park along the walking areas and on the sides of the fountains will create multi-tiered green zones. The assortment will include catalpa bignone, Japanese spirea, fox-tailed pennisetum, yucca, weigela, veinic and pink shrubs. In total, more than 500 green spaces will appear on the territory. The basis of landscaping will be large trees with a height of 3-5 meters - this will quickly form shady corners for recreation. The landscape concept is built so that vegetation emphasizes the dynamics of the water show: tall trees will set the rhythm of the rise of jets, and falling shrubs and cereals will repeat cascading overflows.
In parallel, the construction of the fountain ensemble of six bowls continues. The system will be able to reproduce 22 types of water effects and figures; the water-musical program will be complemented by holographic paintings, illumination and fire elements. For the installation of equipment on the site arrived engineers of the manufacturer from China.
The adjacent territory with an area of 6 thousand square meters is also being improved: pedestrian zones, places for recreation, stairways and ramps for disabled visitors will be equipped here. Opposite the largest fountain will be an amphitheater with 1.5 thousand seats.
The project received federal support – the corresponding resolution was signed by the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin.
