Female turner from Penza will compete for victory in the contest “Best in profession”

In 2027, the Penza region will become a venue for the regional and federal stages of the competition of professional skills "Best in profession" in the nomination "Tokar". One of the applicants for participation will be Anna Lebedeva, turner of the fifth category, who has been working in the specialty for 20 years.

Anna works at the enterprise, which is part of the first machine tool cluster in Russia. She was born in the industrial city of Donetsk region, where she graduated from the school and received the profession of a machine worker. In 2014, in connection with well-known events, she moved to Penza with her family.

Anna is confident in her professional skills and intends to fight for the first place.

“I am in the mood to win. I know what I can do. If you go, then only for the victory, she shared.

Now the specialist works on a lathe of Penza production and manufactures parts for industrial equipment.

There are many women turners in our country, and if we talk about industrial China, 30-35% of them are made by their hands. Representatives of the beautiful half of humanity perform lathe and milling work, said industrialist Oleg Kochetkov in the program “Modern machine tool building in Russia”.

Next year, the Best in Profession competition will cover 25 nominations in various sectors of the economy. Competitions are organized within the framework of the federal project "Man of Labor" of the national project "Personnel".

In the Penza region, the regional Ministry of Economic Development and Industry will be responsible for organizing the competition. Practical and theoretical tests will be held for the third time at the machine tool plant in Penza.
