Resident Elista will answer in court for repeated drunk driving

In Elista, the prosecutor’s office approved an indictment in a criminal case against a 66-year-old local resident. The man is accused of re-driving a car in a state of intoxication, since he had previously been brought to administrative responsibility for a similar offense.

As the investigation established, at night on June 29 this year, the accused, previously punished for drunken driving, again sat behind the wheel of the Lada Granta, being drunk. He was stopped by police officers.

The intruder's car has been arrested. The criminal case was sent to the Elista City Court for consideration on the merits.
