Kalacheevsky district court of Voronezh region sentenced in criminal case on illegal banking operations

The Kalacheevsky district court of the Voronezh region has issued a verdict in a criminal case on illegal banking operations.
As established during the trial, a 54-year-old local resident, left without a job, was looking for remote earnings online. Through a messenger on a smartphone, he contacted an unidentified person and agreed to conduct operations on his bank account for a fee. The man gave the interlocutor the details, and a few days later the account received 90 thousand rubles.
At the direction of the "employer" 5 thousand rubles, he kept as a reward, and 85 thousand rubles transferred to the specified details. At the same time, the defendant was aware of the illegality of his actions, but did not abandon them because of an urgent need for money.
The actions of the man were qualified as the implementation by the client of an operator for the transfer of funds from vested interests of illegal operations using an electronic means of payment at the direction of another person and in the interests of such a person.
In court, the defendant fully admitted his guilt and repented. The court found him guilty and sentenced him to 300 hours of compulsory labor.
The sentence has not entered into force.
