A resident of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky was sentenced to two years in prison for fictitious registration of 121 migrants. This was reported in the press service of the city court.

In the period from March 19 to May 29, 2026, a 42-year-old resident of Petropavlovsk fictitiously prescribed 121 foreign citizens. At the same time, they actually did not live at the address, the report said.

Due to illegal actions, law enforcement agencies have lost the ability to monitor the compliance of foreigners with migration registration rules and track their movement across the territory of the Russian Federation.

The defendant pleaded guilty. Taking into account the mitigating circumstances and the existing criminal record, the court sentenced the accused to two years in a general regime colony.

The man tried to carry in a bag across the border a foreign sexual organ.

The U.S. has extradited 18 people accused of killing the Haitian president.
