A resident of Khakassia deceived the state with cargo transportation

The Ust-Abakansky district court issued a verdict in a criminal case against a 49-year-old man. He was found guilty of fraud when receiving large payments.

The Prosecutor’s office of Khakassia said that in June last year Ust-Abacan appealed to the territorial Department of social support of the population with an application for payment from the state for the development of his case. He planned to handle cargo transportation as an IP.

"The man was transferred 350 thousand rubles, which he spent on personal needs, entrepreneurial activity was not engaged," the department said.

The court, taking into account the position of the prosecutor, the circumstances of the criminal case, the identity of the defendant, the presence of mitigating circumstances and the absence of aggravating, as well as voluntary compensation for damage, appointed the failed entrepreneur a fine of 150 thousand rubles. The court's verdict has entered into force.
