The Michurinsky city court sentenced a 52-year-old local resident found guilty of hooliganism with the use of weapons.
As the investigation established, the incident occurred in the yard of one of the apartment buildings. The man, being in a public place, without apparent reason, took out an air pistol brought with him and opened fire on a teenager born in 2010. There were other children nearby at the time of the shooting. As a result, the minor was injured in the neck, which is qualified as a slight harm to health, as well as a shoulder injury that did not cause harm to health.
The court sentenced him to two years in prison.
In addition, the court satisfied the civil claim of the legal representative of the injured child, deciding to recover from the convicted 200 thousand rubles as compensation for moral damage.
At the moment, the sentence has not entered into legal force and can be appealed.
