Resident of the Rostov region will appear before the Oryol court for attempted fraud

A resident of the Rostov region “worked” as a courier for fraudsters. A 20-year-old man conspired with others to steal money from citizens. In July of this year, accomplices misled a resident of the Orel region. They persuaded her to withdraw 1.2 million rubles from the account. The money was allegedly needed for “expertise”.

As told in the press service of the Prosecutor’s office of the Orel region, Rostov acted as a “courier”. He came to the address to get the cash. However, his further actions were stopped by the police.

Now the guy's in a criminal case. The materials will be considered by the Sverdlovsk district court of the Orel region. His accomplices are prosecuted in a separate proceeding.
