A resident of the Tver region received a large fine for fictitious registration of a migrant

In the Toropetsk district court of the Tver region considered a criminal case against a local resident accused of fictitious registration of a migrant.

The man, being the owner of the premises, in June 2026 registered at the place of residence of a citizen of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan. At the same time, the defendant knew that the migrant would not live in his living space.

The man admitted his guilt. Taking into account a number of mitigating circumstances and the absence of aggravating circumstances, the court sentenced the accused to a fine of 50,000 rubles.
