Resident of Voronezh received 132 thousand rubles for tickets to the concert Kanye West

Voronezh Evgeny Rasskazov has achieved a return of 132 thousand rubles for tickets for the performance of American rapper Kanye West in St. Petersburg. This was reported by the representative of the plaintiff.

This is the first legal dispute in Russia with Say Agency related to the sale of tickets for this concert. The defendant in the case is OOO “Say Edgency”, and the third person is “Zenit Arena”.

Initially, Rasskazov sent the organizer a pre-trial claim, but the company refused to return the money. Their refusal there was explained by the fact that the tickets were bought on the promotion. The man then went to court.

The meeting was originally scheduled to take place on October 7, but was postponed to October 9. Why this happened is not specified in the case file.

Despite the partial payment, the plaintiff continues to claim the remaining 13,900 rubles, as well as compensation for moral damage in 30 thousand rubles, a penalty, a fine and interest under the law on consumer protection. The representative of the plaintiff admitted that if the debt is not repaid before the next meeting, the total amount of claims may increase to 150 thousand rubles.

The next hearing is scheduled for October 26. Say Agency has said it will start refunding all ticket buyers from October 12.
