Residents of Komi warned about the invasion of marble bedbugs

Residents of Komi were informed about the invasion of marble bugs. The mass appearance of these insects was noted in a number of Russian regions due to migration for wintering.

Most of the bedbugs bred in the south of the country. They gather in flocks on the walls of buildings and climb into clothes, and conventional disinfectants do not work on them.

Marble bugs are dangerous for fruit plants: they suck out the juice and inject poisonous saliva, which causes the fruits to rot and the plants to die. Bedbugs do not bite people, but in autumn they actively move to residential houses and outbuildings.
