Residents of Novorossiysk warned about exercises with shootings on October 26

In Novorossiysk on October 26 in the waters of the seaport will be held military exercises with live fire.

According to the Novorossiysk Naval Base (NVMB), the active phase of the exercises will take place in two time periods: from 11:00 to 13:00 and from 20:00 to 23:59.

During the maneuvers, the military will work out the reflection of a conditional attack - unmanned boats and unmanned aerial vehicles are involved in the scenario. For realism, practical firing from artillery installations will be performed.

For security purposes, a complete ban on swimming in the exercise zone is introduced during the shooting. The restriction applies to all small boats and boats: from pleasure and sports sailing vessels to inflatable structures and equipment for water sports - jet skis, windsurfs, sappboards and analogues. The ban also applies to swimming facilities that are not subject to state registration.

Local residents and guests of the city are asked to take these restrictions into account when planning a holiday near the water and observe the established security measures, the press service of the Novorossiysk administration reports.
