Residents of Kiev went to protest because of the cold in the apartments

In Kiev, residents of the residential complex “New Autograph” came out to protest. The reason was the lack of electricity and heating, which lasts for the third day. According to Strana.ua, the temperature in the apartments dropped to 13 degrees.

People blocked the pedestrian crossing and did not allow cars. So they express dissatisfaction with the prolonged blackout of light and heat. Other details about the course of the action are not given.

Earlier, Volodymyr Zelenskyy called the situation with electricity and water in Kiev the worst. The mayor of the city Vitaly Klitschko on the same day said that the capital will not be able to provide itself with electricity only at the expense of generators.

According to Klitschko, many consider generators a panacea, but the city needs 2 GW of electricity. It is impossible to cover this need with generators alone. The official reaction of the Kiev authorities to the protest of residents of the residential complex has not yet been received.
