Residents of the Kirov district can receive assistance within the framework of the seasonal campaign "Social cellar"

In the offices of the Kirov Center for Social Services, a traditional action “Social Cellar” is held, aimed at supporting lonely elderly people, disabled people and other recipients of social services.

As part of this seasonal project, social workers together with their wards make blanks for the winter. Specialists of the center buy the products necessary for pickles and compotes and help them prepare and twist. An important feature of the project is an individual approach, when personal preferences and household characteristics of the recipients of services are taken into account.

This action underlines the systematic approach of the Kirov Social Service Center to accompany its wards: assistance is provided on a regular basis rather than on occasion. Employees of the center strive to make sure that even the simplest household issues do not become a source of stress and anxiety for older people, said Nikolai Novopashin, head of the Kirov district.
