The author of the post pointed out that the number of pupils in two classes in the elementary school on the Metal Site significantly exceeds the established standards.
According to the indignant resident, in the third grade on the same parallel formed two classes, numbering 34-35 students. The other classes have three parallels, but with less occupancy - 20-25 children. The headmaster of the school, according to Kuzbassovets, motivates this situation by the fact that the area of the rural school allows to accommodate such a number of students, which causes the anger of parents.
The administration of the Kemerovo municipal district commented on the situation, explaining that on September 1, 2025, three classes of the same parallel were combined into two. At that time, the total number of students was 62 people, which corresponded to sanitary standards.
The union was a forced measure due to a lack of teaching staff: after the dismissal of two teachers managed to hire only one. By September 1, 2026, the number of students increased to 69 (one child is homeschooled). According to the official response, the current staffing situation and financial constraints do not allow the parallel to be divided into three classes.
