The contractor acknowledged the shortcomings, but refused to return the money. The customer went to court and achieved the recovery of 1.7 million rubles. This was reported in the regional Rospotrebnadzor.

The woman found the brigade on an ad in the newspaper. Her representative assured that the builders have many years of experience. According to a written contract, they had to fill the filling floor in two rooms and a corridor within a month, as well as plaster the walls for painting. The customer made an advance of 200 thousand rubles.

During the repair, it turned out that the floor went noticeable bumps, and the plaster cracks and peels off in places. The woman sent the executor a claim demanding to return the advance payment and reimburse the costs of correcting the works. He admitted that the repair was poor quality, but refused to return the money: he took the tools and left the facility.

Experts estimated the cost of repairs at 834 797 rubles. Rospotrebnadzor was involved in the proceedings - specialists of the department gave a conclusion about the improper quality of the service and violation of consumer rights.

The court recovered from the executor an advance, the cost of eliminating defects, 100 thousand rubles forfeit, 10 thousand rubles for moral damage and 500 thousand rubles for a fine. In addition, he is obliged to reimburse 30 thousand rubles for examination and 25 678 rubles of state duty. The decision has entered into force.
