In the Orel region, the Livensky district court considered a criminal case initiated against a local resident. The woman was found guilty of fraud in receiving payments (part 3 of Art. 159.2 of the Criminal Code).
As follows from the materials of the case, a resident of the region submitted false information about the average per capita income of her family to the authorized bodies. She was therefore entitled to financial support in the form of a lump sum payment under a social contract. As a result, she illegally received 350 thousand rubles.
According to the decision of the servants of Themis, the woman is obliged to compensate for the damage caused, as well as pay a fine of 120,000 rubles.
