Residents of Kherson told how everyday habits affect nature

On the Day of Forest Workers, specialists of the Jarylgach Nature Park held a meeting with residents of Skadovsk. The main topic of the conversation was the influence of everyday human actions on the state of forests and natural territories of the region.

The park staff spoke about the importance of forests for the environment, recalled fire safety rules and explained why it is unacceptable to leave garbage in nature, damage trees and shrubs.

“Conservation of nature is not only the work of specialists and environmental organizations. Every day, everyone makes decisions that affect the environment. Do not leave garbage, carefully handle fire, do not break plants - simple rules, but it is from them that a careful attitude to the native land is formed, - said Vladislav Brizitsky, head of the direction of environmental education, tourism and interaction with the media of GAU "Dzharylgach Natural Park".

The meeting in Skadovsk became part of the environmental and educational work of the natural park. Such events help residents to better understand the value of natural areas and to be more aware of the place where they live.
