Residents of Komi called the reasons for blocking bank cards

Residents of Komi were warned that the card can be blocked at the request of the owner, at the initiative of the bank, bailiffs or by a court decision. It is important not to confuse card and account locking. If only the card is blocked, the money remains in the account and can be withdrawn in the bank with a passport.

The card itself should be blocked if it is lost, stuck in an ATM, it was stolen, as well as if the purchase was made on an unsafe site or suspicious messages and notifications about other people’s transactions came.

The bank can block the card for violation of conditions, data leakage and strange transactions. Also, there are errors when entering a PIN code, revocation of a license from the bank, debts, a court decision or bailiffs, expired validity, suspicions of tax violations and droppery.

To restore access to the card, you need to confirm the legality of operations, show a certificate of income, statement and contracts. Most often, the issue is resolved when visiting the bank.
