At the SKA Arena there was a sold-out - 20,471 spectators. But it didn’t help the owners to win. The first period ended without goals, in the second Muscovites scored two goals. In the third period, Sergey Sapega played one puck, but CSKA responded with another goal.
Fans began to leave the arena after the third puck of the guests, without waiting for the final siren. At the end of the match, SKA said goodbye to the fans, thanking for their support.
The reason for the defeat of St. Petersburg may be the absence of their top scorer Goldobin: before the game, the hockey player injured his arm and went to the hospital.
Before that, the debut for Andrey Razin, who replaced Larionov, the SKA game was lost to Avtomobilist. The score, oddly enough, was the same - 1:3.
