In St. Petersburg starts the IX World Championship in restaurant sports WFRS
Today, October 21, 2026, the IX World Restaurant Sport Championship WFRS (World Federation of Restaurant Sport) opens in the Northern capital. For five days, 16 teams representing all continents of the planet will compete for the title of strongest and world champions.
The global status and special importance of international competitions this year is given by the official support of Rossotrudnichestvo and the Assembly of Peoples of the World.
The program of the championship promises to be saturated not only with sports, but also with high-profile achievements:
World record at the opening. On the first day of the tournament, the organizers and participants will present a giant Russian-made bar. Profile experts, media representatives and more than 300 leading Russian bloggers will personally arrive in the hall to record the achievement.
Star guests. The opening ceremony will be attended by many famous media personalities and guest stars.
Sweet ending. On the closing day of the tournament, October 25, the leading confectioners of the Federation intend to set another record - to bake a grandiose gluten-free cake "Federation".
The names of the winners and prize-winners of the IX WFRS World Championship will be announced following the results of all stages of the competition on October 25.
