The Ministry of energy urged to decentralize energy capacity for data centers

Deputy Minister of Energy Eduard Sheremettsev at the TNF session proposed to change the paradigm of using energy resources for data centers. For example, about 60% of computing power can be left next to consumers, and the remaining 40% can be transferred to the northern regions. This will save on electricity and unload the power system of the central part of Russia.
