In Russia, the consumption of mobile Internet is reduced
The volume of transmitted and received Internet traffic on mobile networks in the second quarter of 2026 compared to the second quarter of 2025 decreased by 6% and amounted to 12.1 billion GB. This follows from the calculations of “Vedomosti”, made on the basis of statistics of the Ministry of digital resources, presented in Rosstat. The decline in mobile traffic continues for the second consecutive quarter. At the same time, against the background of a decrease in cellular Internet consumption, the use of fixed WiFi has increased.
