In addition to working on new films, Outsyders will work with Lightstorm to create 3D versions of previously released films.
Outsyders was created in 2024. It uses AI and machine learning technologies to create “premium stereoscopic content,” the project’s founders note. Outsyders participated in the creation of 3D versions of the films “Blue Angels” (2024), “Lilo and Stitch” (2025), “Moana” (2026). Together with Lightstorm, the startup participated in the creation of a film about the concert tour of singer Billy Eilish, released in 2026.
Earlier this year, Lightstorm bought Stereotec, a company specializing in 3D effects.
