Top executives of Anthropic, OpenAI and Google will speak at hearings on AI risks

The hearing will begin today at 11 am (18:00 MSK). Companies will reportedly have to explain AI-related threats and speak out about possible legislative measures to prevent them.
Anthropic will be represented by Logan Graham, Head of Frontier Red Team, OpenAI – Morgan Dwyer, Head of Policy and Operations, Google – Director of AI Policy and New Technologies Alice Friend, and Meta Director (recognized as extremist and banned in Russia) for AI legislation Shane Cahill. New York City officials summoned SpaceX representatives to the meeting, but the company has not yet responded.
Recently, the topic of AI security has been actively discussed due to the warnings of researchers and incidents with the release of neural networks out of control.
