On October 5, training began at the Academy of Journalism “Kommersant”. In the new stream selected 23 listeners. In the next six weeks, they will undergo an intensive classroom course, after which they will have a three-week practice in the editorial office of Kommersant.
A key feature of this year is the focus on the IT track. This direction will be one of the priorities in the program, which meets the growing demand of the media market for journalists who are able to work professionally with the technology agenda.
The focus of the season is the transformation of the profession under the influence of artificial intelligence. Students will learn how AI is changing editorial processes, data tools, and approaches to content creation. As a result of the training, graduates will prepare and issue a special thematic supplement to the newspaper “Kommersant”.
The Academy program combines classroom training with immersion in real editorial processes: the final stage will be held directly in the editorial office of Kommersant, where students will be able to apply the knowledge gained in practice.
Kommersant Publishing House is implementing this project, continuing the tradition of supporting professional education and developing industry journalism.
