The movement of the “yellow vests” announced a new wave of protests in France – actions are scheduled for October 31. In a statement published on the thematic website, the organizers designated the event as “Act III” and urged citizens to join the sit-in protest.

According to RIA Novosti, the gathering of participants is scheduled for 16:00 Minsk time: in Paris – at the building of the lower house of parliament, in other cities – at the buildings of city halls.
The protest wave in France has been growing since mid-September. It started with high school students performing in the suburbs of Paris, trying to improve the condition of schools. Later, citizens dissatisfied with rising prices joined the protests, and protests swept across other regions of the country.
The peak at the moment fell on a nationwide demonstration on October 17: according to the interior Ministry, it was attended by about 550 thousand people. To contain the crowd, law enforcement officers used tear gas, noise grenades and water cannons.
