El ataque ocurrió el 2 de octubre en un tren que viajaba desde Vladikavkaz a Adler. On the territory of Kabardino-Balkaria, the convict attacked the convoy employees and took possession of the service weapon of one of them.
One convoy was killed on the spot and several other staff members were injured. Uno de ellos murió en un centro médico.
The FSIN expressed condolences to the relatives and friends of the deceased employee and promised to provide them with the necessary assistance.
