In Krasnodar announced the sentence of former employees of the traffic police: three expolicemen convicted of bribes and abuse of power

As the court established, in August 2024, the defendants, while on duty, stopped a car whose driver showed signs of intoxication. According to the law, they had to remove the man from management and conduct an examination, but instead agreed to turn a blind eye to the violation for a fee of 200 thousand rubles. The driver did not have the necessary amount with him, and he asked for help from a friend: as a result, traffic police officers were given 150 thousand rubles, which the defendants disposed of at their own discretion.
