The Investigative Committee published a video from the scene of the prisoner’s attack on FSIN officers on the Vladikavkaz-Adler train.
According to the investigation, on October 2, one of the prisoners attacked the escorts and took possession of a firearm of one of them, after which he shot at the employees. As a result, one of them was killed, three were injured. According to RBC sources, one of the victims is in serious condition, two more are in a state of moderate severity. The attacker was killed by return fire.
The interlocutors of RBC in law enforcement agencies reported that the prisoner attacked the convoy during escort to the toilet. FSIN denied reports of a riot of prisoners.
The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case under Part 1 of Art. 226 of the Criminal Code (theft of firearms), Part 3 of Art. 321 of the Criminal Code (disorganization of the activities of institutions that ensure isolation from society, committed with the use of violence dangerous to life and health) and Art. 317 of the Criminal Code (an encroachment on the life of a law enforcement officer).
