The Dzerzhinsky District Court of Nizhny Tagil sentenced to six years in a general regime colony a master and two gas service locksmiths in the case of a gas explosion in an apartment building on Siberian Street in 2024, the press service of the courts of the Sverdlovsk region reported.

They were found guilty of providing services that did not meet safety requirements and caused the death of people by negligence (Part 3 of Art. 238 of the Criminal Code).

The court also found the owner of the apartment, in the premises of which the explosion occurred, guilty of causing death by negligence (part 3 of Art. 109 of the Criminal Code) and sentenced her to three years of imprisonment. For certain episodes related to careless damage to property and harm to health, all the defendants were released from punishment due to the expire of the statute of limitations.

" وبالإضافة إلى ذلك، وجدت المحكمة أن خرطوم الغاز في الشقة قد وضع في الجدار، مما حال دون سيطرته البصرية. وقال إن مجموع الانتهاكات المرتكبة كان في علاقة سببية مع الانفجار وعواقبه.
