According to preliminary calculations of the Belarusian departments, 4680 executive documents for a total amount of at least 82 million Belarusian rubles are subject to execution. The agreement ratified today by the Council of the Republic will significantly facilitate this process for state organizations and Belarusian citizens. This was not only told to journalists by the Chairman of the Standing Commission of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus on International Affairs and National Security Sergey Aleynik following the results of the extraordinary session of the Council of the Republic held today, September 23, sb.by correspondent reports.

Sergei Aleynik. As we have already reported, today the Belarusian senators considered and approved the draft Law “On Ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Republic of Ghana on Visa-Free Travel on Diplomatic and Service Passports” and the draft Law “On Ratification of the Agreement between the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation on Certain Issues of Execution of Executive Documents for which the claimants are state bodies and budgetary organizations of the Republic of Belarus”.
Speaking about the first of these agreements, ratified today by the Council of the Republic, Sergey Aleynik drew attention to:
Ghana is an African country with which relations have recently intensified. And the most important impetus to this activation was given by the official visit of the President of this country in June, the first in the history of our relations, and his talks with our President Alexander Lukashenko. As a result of this visit, serious agreements were reached in the economic sphere, in the field of industrial cooperation, the supply of our food: food and milk powder. In general, the vector of assistance in addressing food security issues in the near future has been determined. We are talking about the supply of about three thousand units of our household equipment, as well as supplies of powdered milk, meat and other products.
The senator also recalled that during that visit, a document was signed on deepening trade and economic cooperation, creating a relevant bilateral joint committee on trade and economic cooperation, an agreement in the field of agriculture and an agreement between the chambers of commerce and industry to intensify the work of business of the two countries. The agreement on mutual visa-free travel on diplomatic and service passports ratified today. Sergey Aleynik summarized:
- We are convinced that this agreement will give an additional impetus to the intensification of our official contacts at the governmental and inter-parliamentary levels and will assist in the implementation of economic and social development projects. Today we have about 80 students from Ghana. There is interest in increasing the number of students from this West African country, primarily in engineering, agricultural and medical specialties.
Speaking about the second agreement between Belarus and Russia on certain issues of execution of executive documents, the senator explained:
- It simplifies the return of funds for state bodies, budgetary organizations of the Republic of Belarus under an agreement with the Russian Federation. The agreement has been in force since April, and we have already managed to implement about 2,000 such documents, recover the money owed to state bodies, budgetary organizations of the Republic of Belarus and our citizens.
Earlier, presenting this bill to the attention of senators, Sergey Aleynik noted at an extraordinary session of the Council of the Republic:
- According to preliminary calculations of the Ministries of Finance, Taxes and Duties, Labor and Social Protection, the State Customs Committee, 4680 executive documents totaling at least 82 million Belarusian rubles are subject to execution. In the future, these funds are transferred to the accounts of the Ministry of Justice in Belarusian banks for subsequent transfer to collectors, that is, income to the budget. To intensify cooperation: visa-free travel with Ghana on official and diplomatic passports approved by the Council of the Republic
