In the cabin of the city bus route No. 171c, passengers found an open technical hatch through which during movement you can see the elements of the chassis of the vehicle. Footage of the malfunction was published in social networks, and destructive publics were quick to accuse transport workers of improper maintenance of transport: they say, the problem is dangerous for children who may try to look inside.
Meanwhile, the comments doubted that the hatch was opened due to negligence of transport workers and suspected of involvement in the incident by the author.
In “Minsktrans” conducted a trial on this fact. It turned out that during the pre-trip inspection in the fleet, as well as during the location of the vehicle at the control station, there were no defects recorded - the hatch was tightly closed, which excluded the visual detection of a malfunction.
- During the change of complaints from passengers on this fact was not received. To eliminate a possible latent malfunction upon the return of the bus to the park, an application for repair work was issued. The technical condition of the hatch is brought into full compliance with the established standards. With the driver's staff conducted additional instruction on the need to strengthen control over the condition of the cabin at the end points, — said the company.

A video of an electric bus at a stop in the Frunzensky district was circulated with the comment: “Not far from Pritytsky, an electric bus number 17 caught fire.” Other details of the incident were not provided by the news public, which misled readers.
There was actually no fire.
The reason for the smoke of the electric bus was the jamming of the brake mechanism (without subsequent fire). The driver acted strictly according to the instructions: stopped the car, ensured a safe exit of passengers. No casualties. The vehicle was evacuated to the repair zone of the park, Minsktrans explained.
