In Krasnopolye today, October 3, are held events dedicated to the day of liberation of the area from the Nazi invaders. Local residents will celebrate the memorable date for the 83rd time, the district executive committee told sb.by.

The program starts at 11:00 with a solemn rally "Krasnapolshchyna й Sirs Maim!", which will gather about 700 participants on the city square - representatives of the executive power, law enforcement agencies and clergy, as well as labor collectives, the public, youth. They will be joined by honorary guests: silver medalist of the Olympic Games in academic rowing and honorary citizen of the district Evgeny Zolotoy, member of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly Sergey Syrankov, deputy of the House of Representatives Alexander Mikheenko.
Liberation Day is forever inscribed in the history of the district as a symbol of courage, fortitude and heroism of Soviet soldiers, partisans, underground fighters and civilians. That is why it is so dear to us, said Alexandra Mikheenko:
- The heroic feat continues today in our good deeds, care for our native land, responsible attitude to work, striving to preserve unity and educate young people in the spirit of patriotism. Everyone who creates, supports his countrymen, protects historical memory and contributes to the development of the region, continues the noble cause of those who defended peace and freedom.
An integral part of the holiday will be honoring the residents of the district, who by their work and active life position contribute to the development of a small homeland. But the foundation of the Krasnopol region, which we are proud of today, was laid by veterans of the Great Patriotic War and home front workers, Sergei Syrankov emphasized:
- I was born on Krasnopol land, spent my childhood and youth, took the first steps in my profession. She brought up in me a love for my native land, respect for work and the memory of the feat of older generations. Today it is our sacred duty to preserve the peace won by our grandfathers and great-grandparents, to preserve the truth about war and pass it on to future generations. We are united in our desire to see Krasnopol region prosperous and Belarus strong and independent.
One of the spectacular and exciting moments of the day of liberation will be a motor rally, which will gather participants not only from the Krasnopol district. The initiative will be joined by representatives of Cherikovsky, Krichevsky, Mstislavsky, Kostyukovichi and Slavgorod districts, as well as Bobruisk and Mogilev.
The series of events will continue with a review of the exhibition venues of the organizations of the Golden Autumn district, dedicated to the Year of the Belarusian woman. The owners of the farmsteads will demonstrate how professional success is intertwined with creative female energy, preservation of cultural heritage and love for their native land.
At 14:00, guests and residents of the district are invited to the festive concert “My Hometown” with the participation of the “Vesyalukh” team of the Mogilev Regional Philharmonic. And in the city square, children and adults are waiting for sports and playgrounds, a demonstration of rescue equipment and equipment, a thematic photo zone, aquagrim and festive trade.
