On October 8, on the feast of the repose of St. Sergius, Abbot of Radonezh, the Divine Liturgy was held in the Assumption Cathedral of the Holy Trinity Sergius Lavra, headed by his Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia.

The liturgical chants were sung by the brotherly choir of the TSL under the direction of hieromonk Nestor (Volkov) and reader Varlaam Borisov. The archimandrite Taurion (Ivanov) preached to the believers.

After the Liturgy, the Patriarch made a prayer service at the icon of St. Sergius and donated a banner with the image of the saint to the Lavra. ثم (فلاديكا) انحنت إلى الآثار في (ترينيتي كاتدرائية) وغرفة (سيرابيونوف) وفي الختام، قُدمت جوائز الكنائس إلى الأساقفة ورجال الدين والسلالة الذين عملوا لصالح الكنيسة.
