In Voronezh, ophthalmologists restored vision to the patient after nine years of illness
This was reported in the Voronezh Ministry of Health

In the Voronezh Regional Clinical Ophthalmological Hospital, a man complained of vision impairment and a dark spot in front of the right eye. He suffered from the disease for almost ten years, the Voronezh Ministry of Health reported.
The patient had a detachment of the neuroepithelium in the central parts of the retina and secondary atrophic changes in the pigment epithelium, developed due to the long course of the disease.
The doctors performed a two-step operation: focal laser coagulation of seepage points and subthreshold micropulse laser exposure, reducing the risk of damage to the structures of the retina.
