The honour of the Arkhangelsk region was defended by three Severodvin residents: Semyon Koryukin (up to 70 kg), Semyon Chernakov (63.5 kg) and Egor Sonkov (up to 71 kg). The Pomorie team won two awards: Chernakov became a bronze medalist, lose in the semifinals to an opponent from Chuvashia, and fulfil the KMS standard; Sonkov won gold - in the first two fights he defeated on points opponents from Moscow and Komi, and in the final he earlierly terminated the match in the third round due to the refusal of Dmitry Anfuriev from St Peter norms. The athlete was trained by traines Yuri Nikonov and Sergey Filimonov.
