Severodvinsky boxers successfully performed at the tournament "Amber gloves"

More than 140 athletes from 22 regions of Russia took part in the competitions in Kaliningrad - boys and girls aged 15-16 and 17-18.

The honor of the Arkhangelsk region was defended by three Severodvin residents: Semyon Koryukin (up to 70 kg), Semyon Chernakov (63.5 kg) and Egor Sonkov (up to 71 kg). The Pomorie team won two awards: Chernakov became a bronze medalist, losing in the semifinals to an opponent from Chuvashia, and fulfilled the KMS standard; Sonkov won gold - in the first two fights he defeated on points opponents from Moscow and Komi, and in the final he prematurely finished the match in the third round due to the refusal of Dmitry Anfuriev from St. Petersburg, fulfilling the norm of the master of sports of Russia. The athlete was trained by coaches Yuri Nikonov and Sergey Filimonov.
