Media: the commander of the Bundeswehr quoted “Captain America” about the art of war

According to the newspaper Bild, a senior military officer quoted the film “Captain America: The First Avenger”, but at the same time tried to pass the words as a saying of one of the traditionals of military theory.

According to TASS, addressing the participants of the Summit, Breuer noted: “Wars are not won by speculative reasoning, wars are won by soldiers.” When various options sounded in the hall, the general revealed the truth: thequote is not from the works of military theorists, but from a Hollywood blockbuster.

In the original, the hero states: " In war, it is not weapons that win, but people win. The CSU leader said that the German government “it’s time to add momentum”
