Nestle reported full-time work after transfer to temporary management
Nestlé expects to continue developing its business in Russia together with the interim manager, the company said in a statement. Under the control of “L.E.V. Management” also passed the structures of “Auchana”, “Lemana PRO” and FM Logistic

After the transfer to temporary management, Nestlé Group will continue to operate in Russia and fulfill its obligations to customers, partners and employees. This was reported by RBC in the company.
“Nestlé Group of Companies in Russia expresses confidence that interaction with the management team of L.E.V. Management will contribute to the further development of the company,” the statement said.
On September 17, President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the transfer to the temporary management of L.E.V. Management of the main Russian legal entity Nestlé, the Auchan product chain, the construction retailer Lemana PRO and the logistics operator FM Logistic. Regarding Nestlé, the decision affected Nestlé Russia and Nestlé Kuban.
The Kremlin explained the decision, among other things, by the fact that the owners of the companies are in countries that Russia considers unfriendly. According to presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov, the participation of these states in actions against Russia was also taken into account. He stressed that while we are talking only about external management, and other decisions on assets have not been made.
The temporary management mechanism was introduced in April 2023. It allows the transfer of assets related to countries confiscating Russian property to the designated organization. The manager receives the powers of the owner, except the right to dispose of the assets.
After the order was issued, Nestle said it was assessing the situation and would take the necessary steps to protect its rights. The company also promised to ensure the continuity of Russian business, primarily in the interests of employees.
“Auchan” and “Lemana PRO” confirmed the receipt of appeals from the interim manager and reported that they continue to work unchanged. FM Logistic assesses the legal and operational consequences of the transfer of the Russian division under external management.
