The new CEO of Red Wings airline was Igor Ivliev, who held the position of commercial director, told RBC in the press service of the company.
Previously, Ivliev headed Krasnoyarsk airport and held senior positions in Aeroflot.
“In his new position, he will continue to develop the airline, as well as work on preparing for the receipt and commissioning of Russian aircraft of a new type, the delivery of which is expected as early as next year,” Red Wings said in a statement.
Red Wings is a Russian airline established in 1999 under the name "Airlines 400". The current name was given in 2007. Carries out regular and charter passenger, business and freight transportation. Its route network includes more than 100 Russian and international destinations. Red Wings is one of the ten largest airlines in Russia.
In this position, Ivliev replaced Alexander Lebedev, who headed the company since June last year.
