Paramount Skydance has completed its acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery, the press service of the company reports. The deal reached $110 billion, it was one of the largest mergers in the media industry in history, writes Bloomberg.

“The completion of the transaction brings together two of the most prominent media and entertainment companies, each with more than a century of history, giving the combined business a unique legacy on which to build further operations.” The combined company aims to create a next-generation global media and entertainment company driven by creativity and technology, Paramount Skydance said in a statement.
