“Yandex Market” has suspended the referral program for sellers, said on the website of the marketplace.

“The referral programme for sellers has been suspended. To connect to the program or invite new sellers will not work, — stated in the message.

Sellers who managed to fulfill the terms of the program before its termination will be paid a fee. Funds for fulfilling the conditions from 1 to 30 September will be credited on October 20-25. If the requirements are met from 1 to 4 October, the payment will be received from 20 to 25 November.

The company did not disclose the reasons for the closure of the program.

RBC sent a request to Yandex.

As part of the referral program, it was necessary to invite a new seller who had not previously joined the platform to receive a reward. The new participant, in turn, must deliver goods worth at least 15 thousand rubles.

Initially, the amount of payment under all conditions was 10 thousand rubles, later it was raised to 15 thousand rubles. Remuneration could receive companies, IP, self-employed and individuals.

In July, the source of RBC reported on the reorganization in Yandex Market. According to him, the management of the marketplace informed employees about plans to reduce the staff of the unit and the budget. At the same time, the representative of the company denied the information about the staff reduction and said that the total budget of Yandex Market this year will not decrease. He explained that the company is "revising the team structure to focus resources on key projects.".
