Rospotrebnadzor banned the import and sale in Russia of Georgian alcohol and drinks of a number of manufacturers.

Rospotrebnadzor banned the import and sale in Russia of Georgian alcohol and drinks of a number of manufacturers. The corresponding document is available to RBC, also the information is confirmed by the source of RBC in the alcohol market.

According to the document, in accordance with the decision of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission, a temporary sanitary measure was introduced to suspend the import and defense of products in the country that do not meet the established requirements for organoleptic, physico-chemical indicators, as well as safety indicators.

In particular, the following were prohibited:

Wine producer of JSC "Teliani Veli". Wine producer Tbilvino JSC. Wine and cognac producer LLC "Brothers Ascanelli". Wine producer LLC "WINMEN". Beer produced by Georgian Beer Company. It is a non-alcoholic heavy carbonated Coca-Cola from Georgia. Mineral water "Nabeglavi" manufacturer "Helsi Water".
